Micro Weddings.

This is something I have become slightly obsessed with.

According to the largest search engine, a micro wedding is a smaller, more intimate wedding celebration, typically with a guest list of 50 or fewer, focusing on the couple’s closest family and friends.

Personally, just by adding micro in front of the oh so important word wedding … it gives a jolt of curiosity + excitement. It also just feels so real.

It seems people a plenty are unsure of this term Micro Wedding. Like it somehow minimizes the importance of the wedding when in fact it absolutely does not. Micro simply means extremely small.

That’s it.

Think about all the wild possibilities if you weren’t accommodating 400 people??

The venue vibes being anything from a local hot spot to ocean air + the sound of waves crashing while you dance the evening away. The sky is still the limit when it comes to these so called Micro’s. The belief that if you only have 45 people at your wedding makes some wince, and that is totally cool too. The quaintness still captivates others. You can still be deemed “insta-worthy”. You can still write your own vows + have tears while you proudly exclaim them. You can still dance the night away. Dream on that juiciness.
